Legend of the Mohawk boy

My name Sly Fox because I am as sly and sneaky as a fox.My village has been suffering from hunger. We ran out of food 12 day ago. Before that there were tons in the forest to hunt.

Now for some reason all the animals have disappeared. Some people are so
hungry their eating other people.So I'm going hunting. 4 hours later. I see a camp metal covered men men walking around.It's the Spanish ! They killed all the animals! Their walking around with sticks that have paces of metal on them. I see tons of baby animals in cages. Oh no they saw me! Their pointing that big black tube at , and it shots explosive balls!The canon just blowup on them?Ya! Now I can take the food and baby animals to the village!

How Owls turning heads came to be

Long ago when the world was fresh and new, an owl said I shall fly to highest widest mountain of all!  And so he was trying but the wind kept blowing owl back.  Soon he got tiered.  He try ed again and got  blown into a super sticky mud pit.  The mud pit had long green vines in it.

         Then Owl got an idea.  Owl washed himself off in a pond.  Then went back to the mud pit.  Owl grabbed 2 vines, and 4 sticky globs of mud. Owl  put 1 glob of mud on each side of the vines. Owl then stuck one vine to each wing.Then he flue up towards the mountain. When the wind started to blow, Owl swung his arm and the vine stuck to the mountain.Owl cheered. He then swung his other arm and stuck the vine to the mountain, and yanked the other one free. He kept climbing.But, the wind got to powerful. Owl leaned in, but then the wind blew his face to the side. The wind snapped Owls neck. Then the vines snapped and blew him back into the mud pit.Then Owl was able to spin his head all the way around.And that's how owl's turning heads came to be.

The Mohawks are a very interesting tribe.  Foods that they mainly eat are corn, fruit , berries , rabbit , grouse , wild turkey , deer meat, and fish. Fishing was what they did sometimes for entertainment.  They also played with dolls .  The climate can be different at different times of the year.  During the Fall it can windy and cold, Winter can be snowy and cold, spring could be rainy and humid , and summer can be super hot.  Speaking of  summer , one of their religions are to have summer time ceremonies.  Also for their   culture their warriors get their hair made into a Mohawk and haft to wear war paint.  Also during the winter  women wear bear  skin and cured smoked moss.  The name mohawk means man eater.  But now no one really knows for sure if they really were cannibals, or it was just an insult.
